Industrial Drying
Molecular sieve for industrial drying
Deep drying of solvents, gases and process liquids to ppm moisture levels, regenerable in the oven or column you already run.
Request a quoteDownload TDS
Molecular sieve is used for industrial drying wherever air, gases, solvents or packaged goods must be held at a low and stable moisture level.
Typical duties include compressed air drying, drying of solvents and refrigerants, moisture control in pharmaceutical and food packaging, and static dehydration inside sealed enclosures.
Moisture into the ppm range
Outlet moisture targets in the tens of ppm, set against your product specification.
Regenerates on site
Runs in the same regeneration loop as your existing plant — no new utilities required.
Sizes for packed columns
Beads or pellets supplied in the size that suits your column hydraulics and pressure drop.
Recommended Grades
- 3A Molecular Sieve — Where co-adsorption of larger molecules must be avoided.
- 4A Molecular Sieve — General-purpose drying of air, gases and solvents.
- 13X Molecular Sieve — Where higher capacity and removal of larger molecules is needed.
Typical service conditions
| Parameter | Typical range | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Outlet moisture target | 10–100 ppm w/w | Set by the product specification |
| Bed operating temperature | Ambient to 80 °C | Capacity falls as temperature rises |
| Regeneration temperature | 200–300 °C | Nitrogen purge or dry air |
| Cycle | Batch oven or twin-bed TSA | Twin beds give continuous output |
| Service life | 2–4 years | Shortened by liquid carry-over |
Information We Need to Quote
| Item | Your value |
|---|---|
| Medium to be dried | e.g. ethanol, 500 ppm down to <50 ppm |
| Required outlet moisture level | e.g. <50 ppm w/w |
| Operating temperature and pressure | e.g. 30 °C, atmospheric |
| Regeneration method available on site | e.g. nitrogen purge at 250 °C |

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose between 3A and 4A for drying?
Choose 3A when the stream contains molecules that must not be co-adsorbed, or where nitrogen uptake has to stay low. 4A is the general-purpose choice for water removal from air, gases and solvents.
Can the sieve be regenerated in place?
In most installations, yes: thermal regeneration with dry purge gas or by vacuum, depending on the design. Cycle conditions depend on the duty and the target moisture level.
Do you supply small quantities for packaging use?
Yes. Tell us the packaging format and filling method and we will confirm a suitable particle size and packing option.
Factory-Direct Supply
We manufacture molecular sieve at our own plant and export directly to industrial buyers and distributors — no trading layer between the production record and your certificate of analysis. Every lot is tested before release and shipped with a lot-specific COA. How we make it · Quality control · Request a factory quote
Drying duty, packed and ready
Industrial gas drying skids run on 4A and 13X beds; every lot leaves our plant with a batch COA.
