Li-LSX Molecular Sieve
Li-LSX is a lithium-exchanged low-silica X zeolite. Lithium exchange raises nitrogen adsorption capacity and the nitrogen/oxygen separation factor well above the calcium A type, which is why it is the adsorbent used in modern PSA and VPSA oxygen generators, including medical and home oxygen concentrators.

Why Li-LSX instead of 5A for oxygen generation?
Lithium exchange gives roughly two to three times the nitrogen adsorption capacity of the calcium A type and a much higher nitrogen/oxygen separation factor, so less adsorbent is needed for the same oxygen output.
Is Li-LSX sensitive to moisture?
Yes, like all zeolites. It is shipped sealed, with moisture as packed typically ≤0.5 wt%, and must be kept sealed until the bed is filled.
What is the minimum order and packing?
1,000 kg per grade, in 25 kg or 125 kg sealed steel drums with foil liner.
