13X Molecular Sieve
Packing and typical duty

Before you order
- Compare this grade with the others — pore size, what it adsorbs and the regeneration temperature
- Packing, lead time and Incoterms — 25 kg bags, drums or big bags, 1,000 kg minimum
- Request a sample — 0.5–1 kg from production with its certificate of analysis
13X Molecular Sieve
13X molecular sieve is the sodium form of zeolite type X, with a pore opening around 9–10 Å and a higher adsorption capacity than the A types. It is used for deep drying, CO2 and H2S removal, general gas and liquid purification, and as a catalyst carrier.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between 13X and 13X APG?
13X APG is the grade specified for air separation service, with water and CO2 capacity balanced for the pre-purification duty ahead of the cold box. Standard 13X is the general-purpose high-capacity grade.
Can 13X remove both water and CO2?
Yes — that co-adsorption is exactly why X-type sieve is used ahead of cryogenic units.
What is the minimum order and packing?
1,000 kg per grade, in 25 kg cartons or bags, 130–150 kg steel drums or 750–1,000 kg big bags.
Where this grade is used
- Natural gas dehydration — removes water together with H2S and mercaptans
- Air separation — removes CO2 and water ahead of the cold box
- Industrial drying — deep drying of liquids and gases to low dew points
